PROJECT INVESTIGATORS:
- Dr. Philippe Bouchet,
is a Senior Professor at the Muséum
National d'Histoire Naturelle (MNHN) and
Head of the
Taxonomy-Collections Unit. The overall coordinator
of the Panglao Marine Biodiversity Project
2004 and was responsible for selecting the
site and the participants and developing partnerships

Dr.
Danilo Largo, is the
chairman of the Biology Department at the
University of San Carlos, Cebu. He is one
of the principal investigators of the Panglao
Marine Biodiversity Project 2004. He specializes
on seaweed disease and primarily works on
the red alga Eucheuma/Kappaphycus. In Panglao
Project, he coordinates with the Principal
Project Investigator and the Philippine participants

teasingly confirms Virginie as she refers to
the gastropod speculated to be a new species.
This mollusc (see
pic) belongs to the Superfamily Cerithioidea
and will also be joining the crab of Joelle
