Dr. Yuri Kantor, is a leading researcher at the A.N.Severtzov Institute of Ecology and Evolution, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow. Specializing in malacology, particularly in anatomy, functional morphology and phylogeny of the carnivorous gastropods. In Panglao Project, he preserves the specimens for future morphological and DNA studies, working with Ellen Strong and Francisco Heralde III. kantor@malaco-sevin.msk.ru

Ms. Tatiana Steyker, for 30 years working in the P.P. Shirshov Institute of Oceanology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow. She participated in 7 scientific cruises of the Soviet scientific vessels, and prepared illustrations for scientific publications in the laboratory of Ichthyology. She is a scientific officer for the last four years assigned in orginizing the museum of the institute. Here in Panglao, she is assigned in the sorting.
